Weekly Photo Challenge: Wrong

Instead of condemning people, let’s try to understand them. Let’s try to figure out why they do what they do. That’s a lot more profitable and intriguing than criticism; and it breeds sympathy, tolerance and kindness. “To know all is to forgive all.”

~ From Dale Carnegie’s How to win Friends and influence People

The Chambers St. and Park Place subway stations in World Trade Center feature a series of stone and glass mosaic eyes which are inset on while tiles. These 300 mosaic eyes are part of the 1999 installation Oculus created by Kristin Jones and Andrew Ginzel. The work surprisingly sustained only minimal damage after 9/11.
